<br /> 9 ¿1, <br /> RESOLUTION 1985-l06R <br /> A RESJLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ANENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN aF SAID CITY FOR 0.486 ACRES OF <br /> LAND AND BEING A PORTION OF LOTS 2 AND 13, BIDCK 1 OF <br /> THE LINDSEY HARVEY ADDITION, SAID SUBDIVISION BEING <br /> RECORDLlJ IN VOLUME E, PAGE 415 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF <br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING THE SAME PROPERTY AS £'DUND <br /> ON THE GROUND DESCRIBED IN DEED RECORDED IN VOWME 405, <br /> PAGE 413, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS; <br /> A/K/A 526 A & B WEST SAN AN1DNIO STREET, FROM" ill" (LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) 'ill "MD" (MEDIUN DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFE;CTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 20, 1985, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br /> Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a <br /> to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan <br /> from Low œnsity to Medium œnsity Residential; and, <br /> subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br /> Cormnissions , on Augus t 20, 1985, consider said request and <br /> the Planning Cormnission voted to deny the same and has recommended <br /> that the Counc il of said City approve a medium density <br /> residential land use designation, and the Zoning Cormnission voted to <br /> deny such request and has recommended that the City Council of said <br /> City approve a medium density residential land use des igna tion; <br /> and, <br /> vvHEREAS, said Counc held a public hearing on the 14 day <br /> of November , 1985, regarding such request; and, <br /> vVHEREAS, all of the Master Plan pertaining to <br /> amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESJLVED BY THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br /> located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is In an area shown <br /> on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San <br /> Marcos as Low Residential shall be shown on map as <br /> Mediull œnsity Residential: <br /> Baing 0.486 acres of land and being a portion of Lots 2 and <br /> 13, Block 1 of the Lindsey Harvey Add i tion, said <br /> subdivision being recorded in Volume Page 415 of the œed <br /> Records of Hays County, Texas, and being the same property as <br /> found on the ground described in œed recorded in Volume 405, <br /> 413, of the œed Records of Hays County, Texas, <br /> and be more particularly described as follows:; <br /> BEGINNING: At an iron pin set in the Northwest line of San <br /> Antonio Street for the East corner of said Lot 2 for the East <br /> corner of this tract; <br /> THENCE: S 44° 59' 57"w 71.7 feet, along the Northwest line of <br /> San Antonio Street to a railroad spike found in saIne for the <br /> South corner of tract; <br /> THENCE: N 45° 12' 26" W 150.0 feet to an pln set in the <br /> Northwesterly line of Lot 2, the Southeasterly line of Lot 13 <br /> for a corner of this tract; <br /> ° <br /> THENCE: N 45 00' 00" E 2.27 feet, along said common lot line <br /> to an iron pin set in same for an interior corner of this tract; <br /> THENCE: N 45° 09' 34" W 150.0 feet to an iron pin set at fence <br /> corner in the Southeast line of Harvey Street for the "West <br /> corner of this tract; <br /> 'IHENCE: N 45° 00' 00" E 69.19 feet, along the Southeast line of <br /> Harvey Street an iron pin set at fence corner in same for the <br /> Nore1 corner of this tract; <br />
