RESOLUTION 2014 -16R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING AN ANNUAL CONTRACT TO TOWNSEND TREE <br />SERVICE COMPANY, LLC DB /A NATIONAL TREE EXPERT COMPANY <br />FOR TREE TRIMMING SERVICES IN THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT <br />OF $345,280.00 CONTINGENT UPON THE BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION <br />OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID <br />DOCUMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of an annual contract to Townsend Tree Service Company, <br />LLC d /b /a National Tree Expert Company for Tree Trimming Services (IFB 4214 -006) in the <br />estimated annual amount of $345,280.00 contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of <br />sufficient insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents. <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
