30 RESOLUTION 1985-118R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED CON- TRACT WITH FRED SAFFER UTILITY CONSUL- TANTS, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSUL- TING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE OFFER BY THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTH- ORITY TO SELL TO SAID CITY CERTAIN ELEC- TRIC DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND ANY AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS AND INSTRU- MENTS INCIDENT TO THE PURPOSES THEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEEEAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to enter into a contract with Fred Saffer Utility Consultants, Inc. for the provision of consul- ting services to said City in connection with the offer by the Lower Colorado River Authority to sell to said City certain electric distribution facilities; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the terms and conditions of that pro- posed contract between said City and Fred Saffer Utility Consultants, Inc. for the provision of consulting ser- vices to said City in connection with the offer by the Lower Colorado River Authority to sell to said City cer- tain electric distribution facilities, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are hereby in all things approved. PART 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of said City and any and all other documents and instruments incident to the pur- poses thereof. PART 3.
