<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE ADOPTED
<br /> SEPTEMBER 10, 1985 WHICH SET FORTH AN ITEMIZED
<br /> ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EACH
<br /> ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF
<br /> SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
<br /> 1985 AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1986, AND
<br /> APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND
<br /> PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; TO REVISE SAID ESTIMATES
<br /> AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUND; ADOPTING SAID
<br /> REVISIONS AND ESTIMATES; AND DECLARING AN
<br /> EMERGENCY.
<br /> WHEREAS, after publication of notice on August 11,
<br /> 1985 the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, held
<br /> a public hearing on August 26, 1985, on the budget proposed
<br /> by the City Manager for said City for the fiscal year
<br /> beginning October 1, 1985; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, at said public hearing all interested
<br /> persons were given an opportunity to be heard for or against
<br /> any item or the amount of any item therein contained; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider proposed uses
<br /> of Revenue Sharing Entitlement No.7 funds was held on August
<br /> 26, 1985; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the City
<br /> Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted the budget
<br /> for said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1985,
<br /> and ending on September 30, 1986, on September 10, 1985; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said budget set forth itemized estimates
<br /> of the expense of conducting the San Marcos municipal
<br /> government for said fiscal year and appropriated money for
<br /> the various funds and purposes of such estimate; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 8.16 of the
<br /> City Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said City
<br /> Council declares that a public necessity exists which
<br /> requires amendment of said budget; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That Ordinance passed, approved and
<br /> adopted September 10, 1985, which set forth an itemized
<br /> estimate of the expense of conducting each administrative
<br /> unit of the municipal government of said City for the fiscal
<br /> year beginning October 1, 1985, and ending September 30,
<br /> 1986, and appropriated money for the various funds and
<br /> purposes of such estimate, be, and the same is hereby,
<br /> amended as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto
<br /> and is incorporated herein, in words and figures as shown
<br /> therein, for all intents and purposes.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the said revisions and
<br /> reappropriations which shall be the amended budget for the
<br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1985-1986
<br /> beginning on October 1, 1985, and ending on September 30,
<br /> 1986, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
