18 THE STATE OF TEXAS WARRANTY DEED THE COUNTY OF HAYS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation of Hays County, existing by and under authority of the State of Texas, acting through its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, duly authorized by ordinance enacted on January 9 , 1984, hereinafter called "Grantor", for and in consideration of the sum of Four Thousand and One Dollars ($ 4 , 001 . 00), in hand paid by Lucy G.Badillo, 1530 Belvin Street, lot 1, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, 78666, hereinafter called "Gran-tee", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has GRANTED, SOLD, AND CONVEYED, and by these presents does GRANT, SELL AND CONVEY, to Grantee, part of lots Seven ( 7) and Eight (8) in Elock Seven (7), D.S. Combs Addition, an addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded In Volume 42, Page: 332 of the De~d Records of Hays County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Part of Lots Nos. Seven (7), and Eight (8), In Block No. Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to said city according to plat of said addition recorded in Volume 42, Page 332 of the Hays County Deed Records and the property conveyed hereby is described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the -most Eastern corner of said Lot No. 8 in said Block No. 7; THENCE N. 45 degrees H. with the N.E. line of said Lot No. 8, 50 ft. for corner; THENCE S 45 degrees W. 105.83 feet for corner; THENCE S 45 degrees E. 50 feet to the S.E. line of said Lot No. 7 on the N. Tv\!. line of Valley Street for corner; THENCE N. 45 degrees E. with said line of Valley Street 105.83 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
