<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:

<br />SECTION 1. That the following described piece of real
<br />property located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was
<br />classified "AO" (Agricultural-Open Space District) upon its
<br />annexation to the City of San Marcos on June 27, 1983, hence-
<br />forth shall be zoned as follows:

<br />FROM PUBLIC RECORDS IN THE J.M. VERA.f\1ENDI LEAGUE
<br />NO.1, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS BEING A PORTION OF THAT
<br />96.71 ACRES DESCRIBED IN A DEED FROM BRUCE F. HARPER,
<br />ET AL, TO TETCO, INC. DATED .f\~RCH 22, 1983 AND
<br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 390, PAGE 542 OF THE HAYS COUNTY
<br />DEED RECORDS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
<br />BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:

<br />BEGINNING at an iron rod for the east corner of
<br />the 96.71 acre tract and the south corner of a
<br />82.06 acre tract described in a deed from W.B.
<br />Williams to Tom E. Turner dated July 14, 1983
<br />and recorded in Volume 397, Page 824 of the Hays
<br />County Deed Records, being in the northwest line
<br />of F.M. Hwy No. 2439;

<br />THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING with the
<br />common northwest line of F.M. Hwy No. 2439 and
<br />the southeast line of the 96.71 acre tract, the
<br />following two courses:

<br />1. S45°42'39"W 1317.18 feet to a Texas High-
<br />way Department concrete monument found at
<br />Engineer's Point of Curvature Station 142+
<br />27.0, and
<br />2. With a left-breaking curve, having the
<br />following characteristics: central angle =
<br />l8°28'00", radius length =l186.03 feet, arc
<br />length = 382.26 feet and a chord which
<br />bears S36°28'39"W 380.61 feet to a Texas
<br />Highway Department monument found at Engineer's
<br />Station 145+96.3;

<br />THENCE entering the 96.71 acre tract N42°29'02"W
<br />803.53 feet to a fence post found for the east
