<br /> -2- <br /> Proposition No. 4 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend Section 3.04 to provide for maximum <br /> annual reimburseable expenses for the <br /> mayor of $6,000.00 and for maximum annual <br /> reimburseable expenses of city council <br /> members, excluding the mayor, of <br /> $3,600.00 each. <br /> Proposition No. 5 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend section 3.05 to delete the first <br /> paragraph in said section, such paragraph <br /> establishing certain procedures in effec-t <br /> until April 5, 1980, and the same being <br /> now legally unnecessary. <br /> Proposition No. 6 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend the portion of Section 3.06 <br /> regarding the time for holding a special <br /> election to fill vacancies on the city <br /> council to conform to current state law. <br /> Proposition No. 7 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend the portion of Section 3.09 <br /> regarding matters which may be discussed <br /> by the city council in closed session to <br /> conform to current state law. <br /> Proposition No. 8 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend Section 3.11 regarding the passage <br /> of ordinances by the city council to <br /> require that all ordinances requiring a <br /> public hearing be finally acted upon by <br /> the city council within 90 days of the <br /> most recent public hearing thereon and <br /> that ordinances must be read aloud only <br /> at the time of their first presentation <br /> to the city council. <br /> Proposition No. 9 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend those portions of Section 4.04 to <br /> remove all references to the sex of the <br /> city a"t torney. <br /> Proposition No. 10 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend the portions of Section 6.05 <br /> regarding the time for the city council <br /> to submit initiative and referendum <br /> ordinances to the qualified voters of the <br /> city to conform to current state law. <br /> Proposition No. 11 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend the portions of Section 6.08 <br /> regarding the time for the holding of <br /> recall elections to conform to current <br /> state law. <br /> Proposition No. 12 <br /> FOR/AGAINST Amend Section 7.06 to give the planning <br /> commission additional powers and duties <br /> regarding the platting and subdivision <br />
