41 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, JANUARY 14,1985 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler * Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins Also Present: Paul Drummond and Charles Chapman. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Farr moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V. A. C. S., to discuss pending litigation (McDonald vs. City) and matters where the duties of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this Article 6252-17 and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (6:33 p.m.). Mayor Craddock moved to convene at 7:05 p.m. and to recess and table the Executive Session until later in the evening and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 8:02 p.m. Mayor Craddock moved to bring the Special Meeting (6:30 p.m. Meeting) back on the table after being recessed earlier in the evening and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Ms. Kissler moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V. A. C. S., supra, and Mayor Craddock se- conded the motion, which passed unanimously (8:02 p.m.). Mr. Guerra moved the Council convene at 8:19 p.m. and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
