<br /> Section 26. PRINTED OPINION. The Purchaser's obligation to <br />accept delivery of the Certificates is subject to its being furnished <br />a final opinion of Rick P. Fisher, Attorney at Law, approving such <br />Certificates as to their validity, said opinion to be dated and <br />delivered as of the date of delivery and payment for such <br />Certificates. Printing of a true and correct copy of said opinion on <br />the reverse side of each of said Certificates is hereby approved and <br />authorized. <br /> Section 27. CUS IP NUMBERS. CUSIP numbers may be printed on the <br />Certificates. It is expressly provided, however, that the presence of <br />absence of CUSIP numbers on the Certificates shall be of no <br />significance or effect as regards the legality thereof, and neither <br />the City nor attorneys approving the Certificates as to legality are <br />to be held responsible for CUSIP numbers incorrectly printed on the <br />Certificates. <br /> Section 28. PUBLIC MEETING. It is officially found, determined, <br />and declared that the meeting at which this Ordinance is adopted was <br />open to the public and public notice of the time, place, and subject <br />matter of the public business to be considered at such meeting, <br />including this Ordinance, was given, all as required by the applicable <br />provisions of Article 6252-17, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, as <br />amended. <br /> Section 29. EMERGENCY DECLARATION. The fact that the proceeds <br />from the sale of the Certificates are needed without delay for the <br />acquisition of urgently needed facilities and properties creates an <br />emergency and an urgent public necessity relating to the preservation <br />of the public peace, health and safety, requiring that the Charter <br />rule which requires that ordinances be read on three separate days be <br />dispensed wi th¡ said Charter rule is hereby accordingly dispensed <br />with¡ and this Ordinance is passed as an emergency measure, to take <br />effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED, this 26th day of March, 1984. <br /> t7 )~) <br /> -- .
