<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN,
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1983-45 ADOPTED~
<br /> SEPTEMBER 12, 1983 WHICH SET FORTH AN ITEMI
<br /> ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING
<br /> ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF
<br /> SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
<br /> 1983, AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1984, AND
<br /> APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND
<br /> PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE, TO REVISE SAID ESTIMATES
<br /> AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS; AMENDING
<br /> ORDINANCE 1979-38 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS
<br /> FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 11; AMENDING
<br /> ORDINANCE 1980-37 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS
<br /> FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 12; AMENDING
<br /> ORDINANCE 1981-70 WHICH DETERf\1INED APPROPRIATIONS
<br /> FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 13; ADOPTING
<br /> SAID REVISIONS AND ESTIMATES AND DECLARING AN
<br /> EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, after publication of notice on August 5, 1983,
<br />the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, held a
<br />public hearing on August 15, 1983, on the budget proposed by
<br />the City Manager for said City for the fiscal year beginning
<br />October 1, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, at said public hearing all interested persons
<br />were given an opportunity to be heard for or against any item
<br />or the amount of any item therein contained; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, public hearings to consider proposed uses of
<br />Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 15 funds were held on August
<br />1, 1983, and August 15, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after said public hearings, the City Council of
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted the budget for said
<br />City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and
<br />ending on September 30, 1984, on September 12, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said budget set forth itemized estimates of the
<br />expense of conducting the San Marcos municipal government for
<br />said fiscal year and appropriated money for the various funds
<br />and purposes of such estimate; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing, on September
<br />10, 1979, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />by Ordinance 1979-38 adopted the budget for said City for the
<br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979 and ending on September
<br />30, 1980; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said budget determined appropriations for funds
<br />received as Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 11; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council finds and determines that a
<br />public necessity exists which requires reappropriation of the
<br />funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 11; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing, on September
<br />8, 1980, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />by Ordinance 1980-37 adopted the budget for said City for the
<br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980, and ending on
<br />September 30, 1981; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said budget determined appropriations for fund s
<br />received as Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 12; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council finds and determines that a
<br />public necessity exists which requires reappropriation of the
<br />funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 12; and,
