<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOTS TEN (10) AND ELEVEN
<br /> (11) IN BLOCK THIRTY-TWO (32), VICTORY
<br /> GARDENS, SECTION TWO ( 2), AN ADDITION,
<br /> LOCNfED IN SAID CITY, TO CARLOS TIJERINA AND
<br /> MARY TIJERINA; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br /> EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO CARLOS TIJERINA
<br /> AND MARY TIJERINA AND DECLARING AN
<br /> EMERGENCY.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of lots ten (10) and eleven (11) ln Block
<br />Thirty-two (32), victory Gardens, Section Two ( 2), an
<br />addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br />according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 130,
<br />Page 48 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known
<br />as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 45R-9, in the San Marcos Record,
<br />a local newspaper with a general circulation in the County of
<br />Hays, State of Texas, on September 11, 1983 and September 13,
<br />1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was
<br />submitted by Carlos Tijerina and Mary Tijerina for said
<br />described property in the amount of three thousand dollars
<br />($3,000.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas on June 1, 1982; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on March 7, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said
<br />purchase price and the approval of the terms and conditions
<br />for said sale, as contained in the bid document; now,
<br />therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, of lots ten (10) and eleven
<br />(11) in Block Thirty-two (32), victory Gardens,Section Two
<br />( 2), an addition to the city of San f\1arcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in
<br />Volume 130, Page 48 of the Deed Records of Hays County,
<br />Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 45R-9, to
<br />Carlos Tijerina and Mary Tijerina, are hereby approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration of three thousand
<br />dollars ($3,000.00) for said property be, and the same is
<br />hereby, approved.
<br /> SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on
<br />notice that the subject property is subject to assessment
<br />under the provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil
<br />Statutes.
<br /> SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the city of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to
<br />execute a warranty deed to Carlos Tijerina and Mary Tijerina
<br />from the City of San Marcos for said property.
