That the official canvass of the returns of said election reflects that the following person was duly elected Council Member, Place Three, of the city of San Marcos: Bill Coddington C. That the official canvass of the returns of said election reflects that the following person was duly elected Council Member, Place Four, of the City of San Marcos: Betty Jane Kissler D. That the official canvass of the returns of said election reflects that the following amendments were approved or defeated by a majority of the qualified voters voting at said election: Proposition No. 1 Amend the portion of Section 2.03 regarding public hearings and notice thereof for annexations and regarding the extension of utilities to such areas and procedures therefor to conform to current state law. FOR: 1040 AGAINST: 380 Proposition No. 2 Add Section 2.04 to provide for limited purpose annexation. FOR: 904 AGAINST: 493 "- Proposition No. 3 Amend Section 3.01(b) to delete that portion of said section beginning with the phrase "Upon adoption of this Charter amendment" to the end of that section, all of such deleted portion concerning the terms of years of council members when they were originally elected and the same being now legally unnecessary to the City Charter. FOR: 948 AGAINST: 399 --- Proposition No. 4 Amend Section 3.04 to provide for maximum annual reimburseable expenses for the mayor of $6,000.00 and for maximum annual reimburseable expenses of city council members, excluding the mayor, of $3,600.00 each.
