<br /> THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES
<br /> AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54)
<br /> BY ZONING 1.1 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE
<br /> J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. TWO BEING A PORTION
<br /> OF THAT 2.29 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO
<br /> J.E. GARY AND CHRISTINE E. GARY BY DEED DATED
<br /> AUGUST 26, 1960 AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 183,
<br /> PAGE 289, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS A/K/A 1629
<br /> OLD POST ROAD FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL-OPEN
<br /> SPACE DISTRICT) TO "D" (MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
<br /> DISTRICT).
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real
<br />property located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was
<br />classified "AO" (Agricultural-Open Space District) upon its
<br />annexation to the City of San Marcos on December 19, 1983,
<br />henceforth shall be zoned liD" (Multi-Family Dwelling
<br />District);
<br /> BEING A PORTION OF THAT 2.29 ACRE TRACT OF LAND
<br /> CONVEYED TO J.E. GARY AND CHRISTINE E. GARY BY
<br /> DEED DATED AUGUST 26, 1960, AND RECORDED IN
<br /> VOLUME 183, PAGE 289, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS,
<br /> AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES
<br /> AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br /> BEGINNING at a point on the Northeast line of
<br /> the tract herein described, the Northeast line
<br /> of the said 2.29 acre tract, same being a
<br /> Northwest corner of the City limits of San
<br /> Marcos as established by Ordinance No. 1981-50;
<br /> THENCE, with the said City Limits line, S 46°
<br /> 38' E, 97.33 feet more or less, to a point for
<br /> the East corner of the tract herein described,
<br /> same being an re-entrant corner of the said City
<br /> Limits;
<br /> THENCE, with the said City Limits line, S 45°
<br /> 00' W, 187.31 feet more or less, to a point for
<br /> the South corner of the tract herein described;
<br /> THENCE, leaving the said City Limits line, with
<br /> the Southwest line of the said 2.29 acre tract,
<br /> N 46° 36' W, 277.72 feet more or less, to a
<br /> point for the West corner of the tract herein
<br /> described, same being the west corner of the
<br /> said 2.29 acre tract;
<br /> THENCE, with the Northwest line of the said 2.29
<br /> acre tract, N 45° 00' E, 187.56 feet more or
<br /> less, to a point for the North corner of the
<br /> tract herein described, same being the North
<br /> corner of the said 2.29 acre tract;
<br /> THENCE, with the Northeast line of the said 2.29
<br /> acre tract, S 46° 30' 01" E, 180.38 feet more or
<br /> less, to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 1.1
