<br /> 62 <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> ELECTRIC UTILITY EASEHENT <br />COUNTY OF CALDWELL <br />KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation of <br />Hays County, organized and existing by and under the laws of <br />the State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, for the <br />sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00), in hand paid, and other good and <br />valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which <br />are hereby acknowledged, does hereby GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND <br />CONVEY in perpetuity unto Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc., <br />a Texas corporation whose registered address is P.O. Box 467, <br />Johnson City, Texas, 78636, its successors and assigns, hereinafter <br />referred to as Grantee, an electric utility easement thirty (30) <br />feet in width, being more particularly described as follows: <br /> A centerline for the granting of an easement for <br /> the construction and maintenance of an electric <br /> utility line located within the boundaries of the <br /> Airport of the City of San Marcos, and within the <br /> William Pettus Survey, Caldwell County, Texas; the <br /> location of this centerline is described in the <br /> following paragraphs. The strip subject to this <br /> easement shall be 30.00 feet wide and shall be <br /> 15.00 feet on each side of the said centerline. <br /> Bearings are based on the centerline bearing of State <br /> Highway No. 21 as shown on the right of way map of <br /> the Texas Highway Department dated Harch 1937, as <br /> the centerline was found marked on the ground between <br /> stations 129+53 and 158+10. <br /> The point cited herein as the West Reference Mark lS <br /> a 3/8" diameter drill hole near the west end of the <br /> concrete parking ramp, and 9.5 feet North of the <br /> south edge of the ramp. The point cited herein as the <br /> East Reference mark is a 3/8" diameter drill hole in <br /> the concrete parking ramp opposite the east legs of <br /> the old control tower, and 9.5 feet North of the south <br /> edge of the ramp. From the West Reference Mark, the <br /> East Reference Mark bears South 89°-58'-34"East a <br /> distance of 1505.44 feet. <br /> Beginning at Point No. 1, which is south of State <br /> Highway No. 21 and west of the Airport entrance road, <br /> and from which the point of intersection of the center- <br /> lines of Runways 4 and 12 bears North 7lo-25'-05"East <br /> a distance of 3776.74 feet, the West Reference Mark <br /> bears South 45°-l2'-5l"East a distance of 2332.67 feet, <br /> and the East Reference Mark bears South 62°-3l'-24East <br /> a distance of 3562.95 feet; <br />
