92 Special Meeting February 4, 1985 Page 2 Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF $93,259.00 TO STATE BANK AND TRUST COM- PANY, AS TRUSTEE OF THE MAUDE T. PATTERSON TRUST, OWNER OF A 2.923 ACRE TRACT AND A 45.762 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY OUT OF THE T. G. MCGEHEE SURVEY IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID AMOUNT BEING THE AMOUNT OF THE AWARD OF THE SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS IN THAT CERTAIN EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDING FILED BY SAID CITY ON OCTOBER 10, 1984 IN THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. The Council directed the addit:þnal $28,000.00 over and above which sum is included in an FAA grant be taken from General Fund Balance and a budget amendment Ordinance be prepared. Betty Stansbury advised the Council as much as one-half of the $28,000.00 may be re- funded to the City by FAA in the future. The Council voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to bid a snorkel firetruck. Mr. Coddington moved to authorize bidding for a new or used snorkel firetruck with or without a lease purchase option for a minimum of three years and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration direction to Staff to prepare a budget amendment Ordinance for overrun on award of bids on the Fish Hatchery Building and Park Patrol Building/Parks and Re- creation Office Building and the source of funds (award of these bids were made by the Council at the January 28, 1985 Meeting). After much discussion of the options presented by the City Manager, Mr. Farr moved the overrun for the award of these bids be taken from the General Fund Balance and a budget amendment Ordinance be prepared. Mr. Coddington secon¿ed the rr.otion. On roll call the following vote was reoorded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler; NAY: Moore; ABSTAIN: None. The meeting adjourned at 5:43 p.m. on motion made by Ms. Kissler and seconded by Mayor Craddock. ¿.
