Kosut <br />5410 Montview Street <br />Austin, TX 78756 <br />Dear Mr. Kosut: <br />This letter will represent a letter of understanding between <br />you and the City of San Marcos to provide engineering services <br />for the City with the following conditions: <br />1. For a period of not less than two (2) weeks and no <br /> longer than eight(8) weeks, you will provide profes- <br /> sional engineering services which will include, but <br /> are not limited to, review of site development permits, <br /> review of shop drawings of City projects completed by <br /> the City Engineering Department, consultations with <br /> City staff and applicants of City permits, and other <br /> duties as may be deemed appropriate by the City Manager. <br /> The work to be accomplished will be completed in a <br /> timely manner, provided however, you will also be at <br /> the City office for a minimum of eight ( 8) hours per <br /> week at times agreed upon by the parties. <br />2. Compensation for your services will be at a rate of <br /> $20.00 per hour for consultation and $20.00 per hour <br /> up to a maximum of $100 per acre or any portion there- <br /> of for review of site development permits. <br />3. This agreement may be terminated by either party with <br /> a seven ( 7) day written notice. <br />4. During the period of this agreement you will not serve <br /> as an employee of the City but as a contractor providing <br /> services to the City. However, you will be given <br /> authority to approve permits and plans as the City's <br /> englneer. <br />
