On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: Coddington, Moore. ABSTAIN: None. On roll call for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency, the follow- ing vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: Coddington, Moore. ABSTAIN: None. Since the Ordinance received four votes of approval of Council, the Ordinance passed on first reading and not on emergency, which requires five votes. The Ordinance will come before the Council for approval at two more readings. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CORRECTION DEED FROM SAID CITY CONVEYING A PART OF LOT NO. FOUR (4) IN BLOCK NO. NINE (9) OF THE D. S. COMBS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO J. P. STEADMAN, KNODLE TURNER, HAROLD THOMPSON AND ISAAC COCKRAM, TRUSTEES OF THE ANTIOCH CHURCH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRISTi AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: Moore. ABSTAIN: None.
