<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN JI'lARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, OF LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2) AND THREE ( 3)
<br /> IN BLOCK EIGHT (8), VICTORY GARDENS, SECTION
<br /> ONE (1), A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY,
<br /> TO LUIS FRANCISCO SILGUERO; AUTHORIZING THE
<br /> MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO LUIS
<br /> FRANCISCO SILGUERO AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three ( 3), in Block Eight
<br />( 8), Victory Gardens, Section One (l), a subdivision in the
<br />City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, according to the map
<br />or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 128, Page 46 of the Deed
<br />Records of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal
<br />Parcel No. 86A-15 in the San Marcos Record, a local news-
<br />paper with a general circulation in the County of Hays, State
<br />of Texas, on March 25, 1984 and March 27, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was
<br />submitted by Luis Francisco Silguero for said described pro-
<br />perty in the amount of six thousand five hundred dollars
<br />($6,500.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price se'c
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners
<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas on March 7, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said
<br />purchase price and approval of the terms and conditions for
<br />said sale, as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by
<br />t-.hp Ci t-.v of San Marcos, Texas, of Lots One (1), Two (2) and Three ( 3 )
<br />in Block Eight ( 8), Victory Gardens, Section One (1), a sub-
<br />division in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br />according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 128,
<br />Page 46 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known
<br />as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 86A-15, to Luis Francisco Silguero
<br />are hereby approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration of six thousand five
<br />hundred dollars ($6,500.00) for said property be, and the
<br />same is hereby, approved.
<br /> SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice
<br />that the subject property is subject to assessment under the
<br />provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br /> SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and is hereby, authorized to
<br />execute a warranty deed to Luis Francisco Silguero of San
<br />Marcos for said property.
<br /> SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten days
<br />from and after its passage and after its publication in a news-
<br />paper of general circulation in the area.
