<br /> -10- <br /> (10) Scale of a building. The size of a <br /> building, the building mass of a <br /> building in relation to open <br /> spaces, the windows, door openings, <br /> porches, and balconies shall be <br /> visually compatible with the other <br /> buildings to which it is visually <br /> related. <br /> (11) Directional expression of front <br /> elevation. A building shall be <br /> visually compatible with the other <br /> buildings to which it is visually <br /> related in its directional <br /> character, whether this be vertical <br /> character, horizontal character, <br /> or nondirectional character. <br />Sec. 19. Penalties. <br />(a) Any person who violates any provision of this <br /> ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor <br /> and shall be punished by a fine of not more <br /> than one thousand dollars and not less than <br /> one hundred dollars. <br />(b) Any person who files with the Commission any <br /> application or request for a certificate of <br /> appropriateness and who refuses to furnish, <br /> upon demand by the Commission, any <br /> information relating to such application or <br /> request, or who willfully makes any false <br /> statement in such application or request, or <br /> who, upon such demand, willfully furnishes <br /> false information to the Commission, shall be <br /> punished by a fine of not more than five <br /> hundred dollars and not less than fifty <br /> dollars. <br />( c) For the purpose of this ordinance, each day <br /> during which there exists any violation of <br /> any provision herein shall constitute a <br /> separate violation of such provisions. <br />Sec. 20. Injunctions. <br />Wherever any person has engaged in or is about <br />to engage in any act or practice which <br />constitutes or will constitute a violation of <br />sections 10, 14, or 18, the Commission may make <br />application to the appropriate court for an order <br />enjoining such act or practice, or requiring such <br />person to refrain from such prospective violation <br />or to remedy such violation by restoring the <br />affected property to its previous condition. <br />Sec. 21. Separability. <br />If any provision of this ordinance or the <br />application thereof to any person or <br />circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of <br />this ordinance and application of such provisions <br />to other persons or circumstances shall not be <br />affected thereby. <br />
