<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN ~"1A.RCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br /> CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN IVIARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, OF .06 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF BLOCK TWO
<br /> (2), HOME FARM BLOCKS, A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN
<br /> SAID CITY, TO RAFAEL GONZALES; AUThORIZING THE
<br /> þffiYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO RAFAEL
<br /> GONZALES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for bids
<br />for the sale of .06 acres of land out of Block Two (2), Home
<br />Farm Blocks, a subdivision in the City of San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume
<br />129, Page 226 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, also known
<br />as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 89A-IB in the San Marcos Record, a
<br />local newspaper with a general circulation in the County of Hays,
<br />State of Texas, on March 25, 1984 and March 27, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Rafael Gonzales for said described property in the amount of
<br />three hundred dollars ($300.00); and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set for
<br />said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Coœ~issioners of
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas on March 7, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and
<br />best responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said purchase
<br />price and the approval of the terms and conditions for said sale,
<br />as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, of .06 acres of land out of Block Two
<br />(2), Home Farm Blocks, a subdivision in the City of San Marcos,
<br />Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recofded
<br />in Volume 129, Page 226 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and being
<br />more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br /> BEING A PORTION OF BLOCK 2, OF HOME FARM BLOCKS,
<br /> A SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN VOLUME 129, PAGE 226,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SM1E BEING THAT TRACT
<br /> OF LAND CONVEYED TO ASENCION CISNEROS DE ROJO BY
<br /> E.M. CAPE BY DEED DATED AUGUST 10, 1943, AND RECORDED
<br /> IN VOLUME 127, PAGE 406, P~YS COUNTY DEED RECORDS,
<br /> AND BEING THAT TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO ASENCION
<br /> CISNEROS DE ROJO BY E.M. CAPE BY DEED DATED JANUARY
<br /> 20, 1944, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 129, PAGE 90, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
<br /> DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS, AS FOLLOWS, TO-~'nT:
<br /> BEGINNING at an 1ron stake set at the Northwest corner
<br /> of the said Rojo tract for the Northwest corner of
<br /> the tract herein described, and being at the intersection
<br /> of the South line of Roosevelt Street with the East
<br /> line of Mac Arthur Street;
<br /> THENCE, leaving Mac Arthur Street, S 84° 0 I' E, 46.71
<br /> feet to a iron stake set for the Northeast corner of
<br /> the tract herein described;
