Mr. Guerra moved for ap- <br />proval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Moore. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Brown. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing to consider annexing 108.8490 <br />acres of land, more or less, out of the J. M. Veramendi League No.1, <br />the N. Hubbard Survey No. 35, and Ed Burleson Survey No. 63, in Hays <br />County, Texas, being approximately a 500-foot width strip through the <br />median of IH35 South, beginning South of Wonder World Drive/Redwood <br />and extending between Center Point Road and Posey Road. Mayor Craddock <br />opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor <br />or in opposition to the annexation. No one did, so Mayor Craddock <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br />(VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 2.49 ACRES OF LAND <br />AREA IN THE PUETT ADDITION BEING LOT 1, PUETT ADDITION <br />SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN VOLUME 3, PAGE <br />183 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS AS SHOWN <br />ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF, A/K/A 1625 AQUARENA SPRINGS <br />DRIVE, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO "MF-4" (MULTI- <br />FAMILY DISTRICT); &~ENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- <br />IVE DATE. <br />
