27 RESOLUTION 1984-46R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EMPLOYMENT OF JEFFREY H. KESTER, ARCHITECT, FOR THE PROVISION TO SAID CITY OF ARCHITECTURAL AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED INTERIOR IMPRQVEMENTS TO THE POLICE AND COURTS BUILDING LOCATED AT 401 E. HOPKINS IN SAID CITY; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND JEFFREY H. KESTER; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to employ Jeffrey H. Kester, Architect, for provision to said City of architectural and other professional services in connection with the proposed project for interior improvements to the Police and Courts Building located at 401 E. Hopkins in said City; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the employment of Jeffrey H. Kester, Architect, for the provision to said City of architectural and other professional services in connection wit~ proposed interior improvements to the Police and Courts Building located at 401 E. Hopkins in said City is hereby authorized and approved. PART 2. That the terms and conditions of a proposed contract for employment between said City and Jeffrey H. Kester, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are hereby approved. PART 3. That the Mayor of said City, Emmie Craddock, be and she is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of said City in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.
