<br />RESOLUTION II b.O\. 8~ <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OF THE SAN MARCOS HOUSING AUTHORITY APPRO- <br />VING THE TRANSFER OF THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES <br />AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />OF A PROPOSED MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE <br />BOARD CHAIRMAN FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the San Marcos Housing <br />Authority approves that all Community Development activities be conducted <br />by the Housing Authority; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the transfer of the functions, duties and responsibi- <br />lities of the Department of Community Development of the City of San <br />Marcos to the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, Texas is <br />hereby authorized and approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the terms and conditions of the proposed Management <br />Agreement between the City and the Housing Authority to conduct Com- <br />munity Development activities, are hereby referenced to and a copy of <br />said executed agreement is hereby attached and incorporated herein for <br />all purposes. <br /> <br />PART 3. That the Chairman of the San Marcos Housing Authority is <br />authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of said Authority. <br /> <br />PART 4.
