<br /> 8 Art, VII, § A APPENDIX C-SUBDIVISIONS Art. VII, § A <br /> ARTICLE VII. RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT <br /> OF INSTALLATION COST <br /> Section A. Street construction. <br /> 1. Internal streets: <br /> a. The subdivider shall be responsible, at his own <br /> expense, for the construction of all streets within his <br /> subdivision. <br /> b. The subdivider shall, at his own cost, dedicate such <br /> right-of-way for streets and construct such streets of <br /> such a size as required in Article VI, Section B herein <br /> so as to adequately serve the area being subdivided; <br /> however, if the city should require dedication of <br /> additional rights-of-way or the construction of streets <br /> of a size or quality greater than set out above, the city <br /> shall within one year after date of approval of the <br /> final construction plans, provided construction has <br /> been completed within such one-year period and in <br /> accordance with approved construction plans, reim- <br /> burse the subdivider for any increased cost of such <br /> facilities. <br /> 2. Perimeter streets,' <br /> a. Where it is necessary that perimeter streets or other <br /> streets adjacent to the subdivision be improved, the <br /> city shall construct such improvements, or cause same <br /> to be constructed, In accordance with the street <br /> assessment policy being used by the city at the time <br /> of such construction. The subdivider shall payor <br /> furnish satisfactory security for the payment of his <br /> pro rata share of such street assessments prior to the <br /> approval of the final subdivision plat. <br /> b. The commission shall have the right to require the <br /> dedication of perimeter street rights-of-way up to <br /> one-half of the total width required at no charge to <br /> the city. <br /> Supp, No, 14 1181 <br />
