<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A
<br />TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 25.07 ACRES, OF LAND
<br />MORE OR LESS, IN THE ROBERT CLEVER SURVEY,
<br />A-92, AND THE THOMAS H. FORSITH SURVEY, A-173,
<br />IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS) SAID LAND BEING LOCATED
<br />WITHIN THE EXT'RATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF
<br />SAID Crry AND LYING ADJACENT '1'0 PRESENT CITY
<br />BOUNDARIES 7 APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR SAID
<br />EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID
<br />Crry SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID TRACT 7 GRANTING 'fO
<br />THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TRACT ALL THE RIGHTS
<br />AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY7
<br />BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND
<br />ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of thè City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, provided an opportunity for all interested persons to
<br />be heard at a public hearing, held on April 23, 1984 ,to
<br />consider the proposed annexation by the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, of 25.07 acres, of land more or less in the Robert
<br />Clever Survey, A-92, and the Thomas H. Forsith Survey, A-173,
<br />in Hays County, Texas, same being a portion of that tract of
<br />land describèd in a deed from Orin A. Harryman, et ux,to C.C.
<br />Hughson dated November 3, 1950 and recorded in Volume 148,
<br />Page 139 of the Hays County Deed Records and being more
<br />particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:

<br />COMrvIENCING at a concrete monument in the northwes.t
<br />line of the aforereferenced C.C. Hughson tract, 1n
<br />the southeast line of that 188 acre tract of land
<br />described in a deed to John Eastwdod as recorded
<br />in Volume 39, Page 444 of the Hays County Deed
<br />Records, for -the northwest corner of Hughson
<br />Heights Addition No. Two as recorded in Volume 2,
<br />Page 171 of -the Hays County Plat Records, same
<br />being a portion of that 29.43 acre tract of land
<br />described in a deed from C.C. Hughson to Hughson
<br />Heights, Inc. dated October 16, 1980 and recorded
<br />1n VolUme 348, Page 660 of the Hays County Deed
<br />Records;

<br />THENCE leaving the PLACE OF COMMENCEM~NT and the
<br />Eastwood tract with the common line of the Hughson
<br />Heights Addition No. Two and the Hughson Heights,
<br />Inc. tract the following courses:

<br />1. S52°05'22"E 646.84 feet, and
<br />2. S03°52'43"E 591.35 feet to a point for a
<br />southerly east Corner of Hughson Heights
<br />Addition No. Two and Hughson Hèights,
<br />Inc. tract and the PLACE OF BEGINNING of

<br />THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING and said
<br />Hughson Heights Addition No. Two and the Hughson
<br />Heights, Inc. tract and entering the Hughson
