<br /> March 28, 1984 <br /> SERVICE PLAN FOR ANNEXED AREA <br /> 25.07 Acres - C.C. Hughson <br /> Robert Clever Survey A-92 and Thomas Forsyth Survey A-173 <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10, Article 970a, <br /> V.A.C.S., there is hereby adopted for the proposed <br /> annexation area the following plan of service: <br /> 1. Police <br /> Patrolling, response to calls and other routine <br /> police services using present personnel and <br /> equipment will be provided immediately on the <br /> effective date of annexation. <br /> 2. Fire <br /> Fire protection by the present personnel and <br /> equipment of the Fire Department, within the <br /> limitations of available water, will be provided <br /> immediately on the effective date of annexation. <br /> 3. Solid Waste Collection <br /> The City of San Marcos does not provide for solid <br /> waste pickup. Arrangements for solid waste <br /> collection will have to be made with private haulers. <br /> 4. Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities <br /> The standards and policies now established in the <br /> current City extension policies will be followed <br /> in maintaing and expanding the water and waste- <br /> water facilities in the annexed area. <br /> 5. Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br /> The same standards and policies now used in the <br /> present City will be followed in maintaining and <br /> expanding the roads and streets in the enlarged <br /> City. <br /> 6. Maintenance of Public Parks, Playgrounds, Swimming <br /> Pools, and any other Parks and Recreation Department <br /> Facility or Building which may be dedicated to the <br /> public. <br />
