<br /> -8- <br /> on the area as well as the raising thereon of the <br /> usual farm poultry and farm animals such as horses, <br /> cattle, sheep and SW1ne, and including dairy farms with <br /> the necessary accessory uses for treating and storing <br /> the produce; provided, however, that the operation <br /> of such accessory use shall be secondary to that of <br /> the normal activities; and provided further, that it <br /> does not include the conunercial feeding of offal or <br /> garbage to swine or other animals. <br /> 45. Fraternal Organization: A social club or <br /> association having meeting facilities for the members, <br /> not including residential facilities and/or sleeping <br /> quarters. Fraternal buildings include any such <br /> facility. <br /> 46. Fraternity or sorority: A social club or <br /> association having meeting facilities for the members. <br /> A fraternity or sorority house may have dormitory <br /> facilities for its members. Any such fraternity or <br /> sorority house shall be deemed a rooming house, boarding <br /> house, or group home, depending upon the circumstances <br /> in each instance. The office or headquarters of a <br /> professional, business or other fraternal organization <br /> shall be considered as an office for the purposes of <br /> this chapter. <br /> 47. Garage apartment: A separate dwelling unit <br /> attached to or situated above a private garage. <br /> 48. Garage, conunercial: A building or premises used for <br /> storage, repair, rental or servicing of motor vehicles. <br /> 49. Garage, private: An accessory building or a <br /> portion of the main building in which motor driven <br /> vehicles are stored by occupants of the premises. <br /> 50. Gasoline service station: A place where gasoline <br /> or oil and grease or accessories are sold, supplied <br /> or dispensed to the retail motor vehicle trade, and <br /> where minor repairs on motor vehicles are conducted; <br /> also known as gasoline filling station. <br /> 51. Grocery store: A retail establishment selling <br /> meats, fruit, vegetables, bakery products, dairy <br /> products and similar items. <br /> 52. Guest house: An accessory building designed <br /> for the temporary occupancy of guests of the primary <br /> dwelling for which there is no remuneration. <br /> 53. Height: The height of a building or portion <br /> of a building shall be the vertical distance from <br /> grade to the highest point of the coping of a flat <br /> roof, the deckline of a mansard roof, and the mean <br /> height level between eaves and ridge for hip, gable <br /> or gambrel roofs. In measuring the height of a <br /> building, the following structures shall be excluded: <br /> Chimneys, cooling towers, elevator bulkheads, <br /> mechanical rooms, tanks, water towers, radio tower, <br /> television antennas, ornamental cupolas, domes or <br /> spires, and parapet walls not exceeding four ( 4) feet <br /> in height. <br />
