<br /> 15 <br />Regular Meeting March 11, 19135 Page 7 <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARC OS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO EDWARDS <br /> AQUIFER RESEARCH AND DATA CENTER, SOUTHWEST TEXAS <br /> STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE PREPARATION OF GEOLOGIC <br /> AND HYDROLOGIC MAPS OF THE SAN MARCOS AREA AND ACCOM- <br /> PANYING REPORT; ACCEPTING AND ADOPTING' SAID MAPS AND <br /> REPORT FOR USE BY SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,619.00; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br />Mr. Brown moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Coddington <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Robbins stated this report would be used <br />as a basis for the environmental engineer's determinations and would <br />be used along with the Master Plan. The report will be reviewed by <br />the Citizens Advisory Committee and the Committee may also review <br />the possibility of a lower density than the City now has, such as <br />3 per acre, for extremely environmentally sensitive areas. The map <br />may be somewhat inaccurate but the data is accurate. The Council <br />voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br /> A PROPOSED ADDENDUM TO THAT INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BE- <br /> TWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND HAYS COUNTY, <br /> TEXAS ENTERED INTO AS OF OCTOBER 15, 1984, TO PROVIDE <br /> FOR VARIANCES TO CERTAIN PLATTING, ZONING, BUILDING <br /> AND SITE-DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURES BUT NOT PROVIDING FOR <br /> VARIANCES TO ANY SUBSTANTIVE REQUIREMENTS OF SAID RULES <br /> AND REGULATIONS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID <br /> AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- <br /> IVE DATE. <br />Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Farr moved to amend the Addendum to Interlo- <br />cal Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Hays County, <br />Texas in Section 8. (b) to read as follows: liThe County hereby <br />agrees to comply with all substantive City regulations and require- <br />ments in existence on the date this Agreement was first executed." <br />Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council <br />then voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCO S, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO STOKES CON- <br /> STRUCTION COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CHLORINATIONI <br /> FLUORIDATION BUILDINGS AND RENOVATION OF SPRINGLAKE <br /> PUMP STATION IN SAID CITY; ACCEPTING SAID IMPROVEMENTS <br /> FOR USE BY SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $11,222.46; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock <br />seconded the motion. George Boeker advised the Council flouride had <br />not yet been added to the water and that the City is checking with <br />the State to see if any grant funds are available to assist us. He <br />stated we had most of the needed equipment. The Council voted unani- <br />mously for adoption of the Resolution. <br />
