<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, CREATING A
<br />JOINT AIRPORT ZONING BOARD TO BE KNOWN
<br />AS THE SAN MARCOS, MARTINDALE, CALDWELL
<br />COUNTY, HAYS COUNTY, GUADALUPE COUNTY
<br />JOINT AIRPORT ZONING BOARD; VESTING SUCH
<br />JOINT BOARD WITH THE POWERS SUCH BOARDS
<br />ARE AUTHORIZED TO EXERCISE UNDER THE
<br />PROVISIONS OF THE AIRPORT ZONING ACT,
<br />ARTICLE 46e-l, ET SEQ; AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DA'rE.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That subject to like provisions being made by the
<br />City Council of the City of Martindale, Texas, by the Commissioners'
<br />Court of Caldwell County, Texas, by the Conwissioners' Court of Hays
<br />County, Texas, and by the Co~nissioners' Court of Guadalupe County,
<br />Texas, by proper orders, duly promulgated and entered on their minutes,
<br />and as authorized by the provisions of the Airport Zoning Act, as
<br />amended, Texas Revised civil Statutes Annotated, Article 46e-l, et seq,
<br />there is hereby created a joint airport zoning board, to be known as
<br />the San Marcos, Martindale, Caldwell County, Hays County, Guadalupe
<br />County Joint Airport Zoning Board, which shall have the powers and
<br />exercise the duties set forth in Article 46e-2 and 3, V.A.C.S.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That the San Marcos, Martindale, Caldwell County,
<br />Hays County, Guadalupe County Joint Airport Zoning Board shall be
<br />composed of eleven (11) members, two members to be appointed by the
<br />City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, two members to be
<br />appointed by the City Council of the City of Martindale, Texas, two
<br />members to be appointed by the Commissioners' Court of Caldwell County,
<br />Texas, two members to be appointed by the Commissioners' Court of Hays
<br />County, Texas, and two members to be apppointed by the Commissioners'
<br />Court of Guadalupe County, Texas. The eleventh member shall be elected
<br />by a majority of the members so appointed, and said eleventh member
<br />shall serve as Chairman of the said San Marcos, Martindale, Caldwell
<br />County, Hays County, Guadalupe County Joint Airport Zoning Board.

<br />SECTION 3. Tha-t william Dirk and
<br />Jack Lindstrom are hereby appointed as the City's members
<br />on said San Marcos, Martindale, Caldwell County, Hays County, Guadalupe
<br />County Joint Airport Zoning Board.
<br />
<br />SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10)
<br />days from and after its passage and after its publication in a
<br />newspaper of general circulation in the area and after the satisfaction
<br />of the provisions of Section 1 hereof.

<br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading July 23, 1984.
