<br /> appropriations be made in accordance with said San Marcos Prcgram and <br /> Budget 1984-1985. <br /> SECTION 4. That there is hereby appropriated the arrount shown <br /> in said Ci ty of San Marcos Prcgram and Budget 1984-1985 necessary <br /> to provide for a sinking fund for the payment of the principal <br /> and interest and the retirerrent of the bonded debt of said <br /> City. <br /> SECTION 5. There there is hereby appropriated fran revenue <br /> sharing funds anticipated to be received from the United States <br /> Government, the arrounts shown in said City of San Marcos Prcgram and <br /> Budget 1984-1985 to the various purposes shown. <br /> SECTION 6. That should any part, portion, or section of this <br /> ordinance be declared invalid or inoperative or void for any <br /> reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or <br /> judgment shall in no way affect the remaining portions, parts, or <br /> sections or parts of a section of this ordinance, which provisions <br /> shall be, remain and continue to be in full force and effect. <br /> SECTION 7. That all ordinances and appropriations for which <br /> provision has heretofore been made are hereby expressly repealed if in <br /> conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 8. That line item adjustments within administrative unit <br /> accounts can be made with the approval of the City Manager as provided <br /> in Section 8.17 of the Charter of the City of San Marcos; however, line <br /> item adjustments can only be made between line items budgeted for <br /> supplies, materials, equipIrent, or contractual services within one <br /> administrative unit account. <br /> SECTION 9. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br /> errergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of <br /> the Charter requiring that ordinances be presented at three separate <br /> rreetings and that no ordinance shall becorre effective until the <br /> expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage, be <br /> suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and <br /> after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general <br /> circulation within the City. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13 day of September, 1984. <br /> Ðnmie Craddock <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> K. v\1omack <br /> Ci ty Secretary <br /> W.
