<br /> 57 <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-94 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CounCIL OF' <br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br /> SECTION 29-163(a) OF DIVISION 2 OF <br /> ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE <br /> OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO PROVIDE <br /> THAT LEGENDS ON PARKING METERS SHALL <br /> INDICATE THE VALUE OF COINS TO BE <br /> DEPOSITED FOR PARKING VEHICLES IN SUCH <br /> PARKING SPACES FOR VARIOUS LENGTHS OF <br /> TIME; DELETING IN ITS ENTIRETY SECTION <br /> 29-164.1 OF DIVISION 2 OF ARTICLE VII <br /> OF CHAPTER 29 OF SAID CODE AND DECLARING <br /> AN EHERGENCY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> IvlARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-163(a) of Division 2 of <br /> Article VII of Chapter 29 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas is hereby ê1rnended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 29-163. Installation; construction; adjustment. <br /> (a) Parking meters shall be installed in each <br /> parking meter zone and they shall be erected upon <br /> the curb or street immediately adjacent to the <br /> individual parking space. Each parking meter shall <br /> be so constructed and adjusted as to show by a <br /> signal that the space adjacent thereto is or is <br /> not legally in use. Each parking meter installed <br /> shall indicate by a proper legend the days and hours <br /> when the requirements to deposit coins shall <br /> apply, the value of the coins to be deposited and <br /> the lawful period of time permitted for parking <br /> by meter actuation in the parking meter zone in <br /> which such meter is located, and, on the expiration <br /> of such period, shall indicate illegal or overtime <br /> parking. <br /> . .. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 29-164.1 of Division 2 of <br /> Article VII of Chapter 29 of the Code of Ordinances of the City <br /> of San Harcos, Texas is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br /> SECTION 3.
