<br /> 78 <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-95 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br /> SECTION 29-110.1 OF ARTICLE V, ENTITLED <br /> "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES", OF CHAPTER <br /> 29 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO ADD TWO LOCA- <br /> TIONS AT WHICH THE REGULATION, GUIDANCE <br /> AND WARNING OF TRAFFIC THROUGH THE USE <br /> OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS SHALL BE <br /> ENFORCED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-110.1 of Article V, <br />entitled "Traffic Control Devices", of Chapter 29 of the Code <br />of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas, be, and is <br />hereby, amended to add two new locations at which the regula- <br />tion, guidance and warning of traffic through the use of <br />traffic control signals shall be enforced, such locations being: <br /> The intersection of Loop 82 (also known as <br /> University Drive) and Bugg Lane. <br /> The intersection of Sessom Drive and Peques <br /> Street. <br /> SECTION 2. rrha t the importance of this Ordinance <br />creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity so <br />that the provisions of the charter requiring that ordinances <br />shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no <br />ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten <br />(10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, <br />and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of <br />general circulation within the City. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of October , <br />1984. <br /> Emmie Craddock <br /> Mayor <br />Att~/Y~ <br />~s K.
