120 RESOLUTION 1984-105R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION OF THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR PROJECT NO. 3-48-0195-02, AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT A'r THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT CONSISTING OF CONSTRUCTION AND MARKING OF TAXIWAY C PARALLEL TO RUNWAY 12-30 AND CONSTRUCTION AND MARKING CONNECTING TAXIWAY B; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDI'rIONS OF THE PROPOSED GRANT AGREEMENT FOR SAID PROJECT GRANT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID GRANT AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,556.00; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration of the U. S. Department of Transportation has made a grant offer to said City for certain development at the San Marcos Municipal Airport consisting of construction and marking of Taxiway C parallel to Runway 12-30 (approximately 40 feet x 2950 feet) and construction and marking of connecting Taxiway B (approximately 40 feet x 439 feet) Project No. 3-48-0195-02; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to accept said grant offer and enter into a grant agreement therefor~ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the grant offer heretofore made on October 30, 1984, by the Federal Aviation Administration of the U. S. Department of Transportation to said City for development at the San Marcos Municipal Airport consisting of construction and marking of Taxiway C parallel to Run wa y 12-30 (approximately 40 feet x 2950 feet) and construction and marking of connecting Taxiway B (approximately 40 feet x 439 feet), also known as Project No. 3-48-0195-02, is hereby accepted. PART 2. That the terms and conditions of the proposed Grant Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, between said City and the Federal Aviation Administration for said Project grant, are hereby in all things approved. PART 3. That the Mayor of said City, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute said Grant Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, on behalf of said City. PART 4. That the expenditure of funds in the amount of $19,556.00 for said Project is hereby authori zed and approved.
