<br /> 34 <br /> RESOLUTION 1984-112R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, SUSPENDING THE <br /> OPERATION OF PROPOSED RATE SCHEDULES <br /> FILED BY LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY <br /> FOR A PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS BEYOND <br /> THE DATE ON WHICH SUCH SCHEDULES WOULD <br /> OTHERWISE GO INTO EFFECT AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, Lower Colorado River Authority did, on <br /> November 30, 1984, file a schedule of rates for services <br /> within the City of San Marcos to become effective January 7, <br /> 1985; and <br /> WHEREAS, after having considered the presentation of <br /> Lower Colorado River Authority, it is the opinion of the <br /> City Council of the City of San Marcos that such schedule of <br /> rates should be suspended for a period of 90 days from <br /> January 7, 1985, for further study, investigation, <br /> presentation of evidence and public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution will be provided <br /> Lower Colorado River Authority; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. Pursuant to Section 43(d) of the Public <br /> Utility Regulatory Act, the operation of the Lower Colorado <br /> River Authority proposed rate schedules filed with the City <br /> of San Marcos on November 30, 1984, is hereby suspended for <br /> a period of 90 days from January 7, 1985, for further study, <br /> investigation, presentation of evidence and public hearing. <br /> PART 2.
