ATTACHMENT A <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />N. LBJ AND OAKRIDGE UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />clarifications of plans and technical specifications. Ten (10) RFI's have been <br />assumed. <br />6. Construction Inspection: Electrical Engineer will make site visits to observe <br />construction of Lift Station #12 as appropriate to verify the lift station is <br />constructed generally in conformance with the Construction Plans and Technical <br />Specifications. <br />7. Pay Application Review: KFA will review Contractor's Pay Applications after <br />quantity concurrence by the City's Construction Inspector. Review of twelve (12) <br />Pay Applications has been assumed. <br />8. Review of Change Orders: KFA will provide review of all Contractor's requests <br />for Change Orders and coordinate Change Orders with the City as appropriate. <br />9. Substantial and Final Completion: KFA will participate in one site visit to <br />determine outstanding items and document "punch list items ". KFA will issue a <br />Certificate of Substantial Completion when the contract requirements have been <br />met. KFA will also notify TCEQ and other jurisdictional agencies of completion. <br />Phase E — Record Drawings <br />1. Record Drawings: KFA will review the Contractor's redline as -built drawings and <br />incorporate deviations from the construction drawings as appropriate. KFA will <br />deliver one (1) set of full size bond drawings and one (1) set of half size plan set <br />for review. <br />2. Deliverables: After review, KFA will deliver two (2) sets of full size bond drawings, <br />one (1) pdf electronic copy and one (1) CAD copy. <br />Supplemental Scope of Services <br />Phase A — Preliminary (30 %) Design Phase <br />1. Easement/Land Acquisition Requirements: KFA will assist in the identification of <br />temporary and permanent easements, including name and contact information of <br />landowner and area of easement per parcel. <br />2. Subsurface Utility Exploration: Macias & Associates, LP will provide subsurface <br />utility engineering (SUE) support for the project. For the purposes of this <br />proposal it has been assumed that two (2) locates to depths of 6 -feet and three <br />(3) locates to a depth of 10 -feet will be performed. <br />3. Geotechnical Investigation: Raba - Kistner will perform six (6) 20 -foot deep <br />geotechnical borings within the project area. One boring will be located at the Lift <br />Station #12 site. In addition, Raba - Kistner will conduct appropriate laboratory <br />testing and summarize the field investigation results and recommendations in a <br />geotechnical report as appropriate. <br />Phase D — Construction Phase <br />1. Project Start-up: For budgeting purposes we have assumed two 4 -hour testing <br />and start-up sessions for Lift Station #12.
