Special Protection Systems (SPSI <br />Description: <br />Section 6.2.2 of the ERGOT Nodal Operating Guides provides SPS requirements for <br />ERGOT, Transmission Operators, and TDSPs. To meet the requirements of Section <br />6.2.2, LCRA and Owners will perform the following requirements, according to the <br />appropriate ownership scenario: <br />Owner Shall: <br />1. Design the SPS. <br />2. Coordinate the design of the SPS with the owners and operators of facilities included <br />in the SPS. <br />3. Create the SPS documentation as required by ERGOT detailing the design, <br />operation, functional testing, coordination of the SPS with other protection and <br />control systems and SPS exit plan. <br />LCRA Shall: <br />1. Submit documentation of the SPS to ERGOT for review and compilation into an <br />ERGOT SPS database. <br />2.
