113 Regular Meeting July 22, 1985 Page 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PURCHASE BY SAID CITY OF REAL PROPERTY, BEING 0.57 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, AND BEING A PORTION OF LOTS 64 AND 65, SECOND DIVISION OF PARK ADDITION, CITY OF SAN MAR- COS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 54, PAGE 420 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF $9,500.00 THEREFOR; AND DECLARING AN EF- FECTIVE DATE. Mayor Craddock moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re- corded: AYE: Brown, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: Coddington, Guerra. ABSTAIN: Farr. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption whichwas read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 0.8820 ACRE (38,421 SQUARE FEET) IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, CONSISTING OF ALL OF LOTS 23 AND 24 AND A PORTION OF LOTS 21 AND 22 OF COERS ADDITION, SECTION 3 OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, THE PLAT OF WHICH IS RECORDED IN VOL- UME 169, PAGE 127 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY, AND ALL OF THAT 5236 SQUARE FOOT TRACT CONVEYED BY MRS. A. G. COERS TO W. D. LOVELADY AND RUBY LOVELADY BY DEED DATED 15 MARCH 1958, FILED 11 JANUARY 1961, AND RECORDED ON 6 FEBRUARY 1961 IN VOLUME 184, PAGES 570-571 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY, LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF RANCH ROAD 12 AND COERS DRIVE, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "OP" (OFFICE PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT); AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Craddock moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. Some of the backup regarding this Ordinance was received late by the Council, so therefore, Mr. Coddington moved to table first reading until the August 12, 1985 meeting so that Council would have time to review the material received, and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four Ordinances on second reading and adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, by consensus. Mr. Coddington moved for approval of the four Ordinances on second reading and adoption of the two Ordinances on third and final reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
