<br /> 24 <br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> AGREEMENT CONCERNING PROVISION <br /> OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> This Agreement is made and entered into on this 13th day <br /> of June , A.D., 19 83 , by and between the City of <br /> San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation located in Hays <br /> and Caldwell Counties, existing by and under the laws of the <br /> State of Texas, acting through authority conferred on its Mayor, <br /> Emmie Craddock, by Resolution duly adopted on June 13 1983, <br /> , <br /> hereinafter "City" and the County of Hays, Texas, acting through <br /> authority conferred on the County Judge of Hays County, Walter <br /> W. Burnett, by Resolution duly adopted on June 139 1983 , <br /> hereinafter "County", on the following terms and conditions: <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> 1. <br /> The purpose of this Agreement is to indicate support for <br /> the concept of the administration of emergency medical services <br /> in the City of San Marcos and Hays County, Texas, by a tax- <br /> exempt organization established under the direction of an <br /> independent seven-person governing board, with the following <br /> composition: <br /> 3 members appointed by the City Council of the <br /> City of San Marcos to serve two year terms <br />
