<br /> 40 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1983-32 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A <br /> CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 96.709 ACRES <br /> OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY LO- <br /> CATED WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION <br /> OF SAID CITY AND LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT CITY <br /> BOUNDARIES; APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR SAID <br /> TRACT; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID <br /> CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID TRACT; GRANTING TO <br /> THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TRACT ALL THE RIGHTS <br /> AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY; <br /> BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND <br /> ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> provided an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard <br /> at two public hearings, once on May 9, 1983 , at San Marcos <br /> City Hall, and once on May 11, 1983 , at a site within the <br /> area proposed to be annexed, on the proposed annexation by the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, of 9.6.709 acres of land out of the <br /> J.M. Veramendi Survey and being alSo áll of,a 95.13 ðcre tract~ as now <br /> fenced and occupied, conveyed by G.B. Donalson et al to W.P. <br /> Donalson by deed recorded in Volume 159, Page 622 of the Deed <br /> Records of Hays County, Texas and being more particularly described <br /> as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a fence corner post found in the <br /> occupied South corner of the above mentioned <br /> 95.13 acre tract, in the occupied East corner <br /> of Lot 92 of Laurel Estates Section Two as <br /> recorded in Book 1 Page 62 of the Plat Records <br /> of Hays County, and on the NW line of FM #2439 <br /> for the South corner of this tract. <br /> THENCE N 42° 12' W 205.75' to a fence post found <br /> for an angle point. <br /> THENCE N 54° 24' W 69.44' to an iron pin found <br /> in the North corner of the said Lot 92 for an <br /> angle point. <br /> THENCE S 55° 35' W 264.63' to a 36" Live Oak <br /> tree found in the occupied West corner of Lot 91 <br /> of Laurel Estates for an angle point. <br /> THENCE N 42° 27' W 364.17' to an iron pin found <br /> in the South corner of Lot 83 of Laurel Estates <br /> for an angle point. <br /> THENCE N 26° 05' E 556.48' to a fence post found <br /> in the East corner of Lot 81 of Laurel Estates <br /> for an angle point. <br /> THENCE with the NE line of Laurel Estates, as <br /> fenced and occupied, for the following five (5) <br /> courses: <br /> (1) N 42° 50' W 276.01' <br /> (2) N 43° 08' W 243.78' <br /> (3) N 42° 19' W 365.91' <br /> (4) N 42° 03' W 365.95' <br /> (5) N 47° 43' W 315.77' to an iron pin found on the <br /> SE line of the willow Creek Estates Subdivision, in <br /> the North corner of Lot 51 of Laurel Estates, and <br /> in the occupied West corner of the said 95.13 acre <br /> tract for the West corner of this tract. <br />
