<br /> April 20, 1983 <br /> SERVICE PLAN FOR ANNEXED AREA <br /> 96.709 ACRES (DUPREE, AGENT) - Hunter Road <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10, Article 970a, <br /> V.A.C.S., there is hereby adopted for the proposed <br /> annexation area the following plan of service: <br /> 1. Police <br /> Patrolling, response to calls, and other routine <br /> police serVlces using present personnel and equip- <br /> ment will be provided immediately on the effective <br /> date of annexation. <br /> 2. Fire <br /> Fire protection by the present personnel and equip- <br /> ment of the Fire Department, within the limitations <br /> of available water, will be provided immediately <br /> on the effective date of annexation. <br /> 3. Solid Waste Collection <br /> The City of San Marcos does not provide for solid <br /> waste pickup. Arrangement for solid waste collection <br /> will have to be made with private haulers. <br /> 4. Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities <br /> The standards and policies now established in the <br /> current City extension policies will be followed <br /> in maintaining and expanding the water and waste- <br /> water facilities in the annexed area. The majority <br /> of this site will be extended water and wastewater <br /> facilities by the City. <br /> 5. Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br /> The same standards and policies now used by the <br /> City will be followed in maintaining and expanding <br /> public roadways and streets in the enlarged city <br /> limits. <br />
