<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE APPLICA-
<br /> TION OF HAYS COUNTY NATIONAL BANK
<br /> TO BE CITY DEPOSITORY FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING
<br /> OCTOBER 1, 1983, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1985;
<br /> DESIGNATING HAYS COUNTY NATIONAL BANK
<br /> AS THE DEPOSITORY OF THE FUNDS OF CITY FOR SAID
<br /> PERIOD; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
<br /> THE DEPOSITORY CONTRACT TO SECURE FUNDS OF CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS;, AUTHORIZING THE ~ffiYOR TO
<br /> EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF CITY AND
<br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, Article 2559, Texas Revised Civil Statutes, au-
<br /> thorizes the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to
<br /> receive applications for the custody of City funds from banking
<br /> institutions doing business within the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Council desires to select a depository for
<br /> City funds for the two year period beginning October 1, 1983,
<br /> and ending September 30, 1985; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Secretary for City published notice on
<br /> June 14, 1983 and June 21, 1983 in the San Marcos Daily Record
<br /> that said applications would be received; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said applications were duly opened and duly read
<br /> aloud in the Council Chambers at City Hall on June 29, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after due consideration of said applications, said
<br /> Council hereby finds and determines that the application of
<br /> Hays County National Bank offers the most
<br /> favorable terms and conditions for the handling of such funds;
<br /> now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the application of Hays County National Bank,
<br /> a banking institution doing business in the City
<br /> of San Marcos, Texas, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
<br /> a part hereof, the same as if copied verbatim herein, and designated
<br /> as Exhibit "A", be, and the same is hereby, in all things accepted,
<br /> and said bank is selected and designated as depository for funds
<br /> of the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the two year period beginning
<br /> October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1985.
<br /> PART 2. That the terms and conditions of the Depository
<br /> Contract To Secure Funds Of City Of San Marcos, Texas, a copy of
<br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the same as if
<br /> copied verbatim herein, and designated as Exhibit "B", are hereby
<br /> approved.
