<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />provided an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard
<br />at two public hearings, once on June 13, 1983, at San Marcos
<br />City Hall, and once on June 14,1983 , at a site within the
<br />area proposed to be annexed, on the proposed annexation by the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, of 57.67 acres, more or less, out of the
<br />J.M. Veramendi League No.1, A-17 and the James Curtis Survey A-3,
<br />Hays County, Texas, being a portion of that 38 acre tract described
<br />in a deed from Rogers C. Wilson, et ux, to Rosemary Wilson
<br />r.1cTaggart dated December 15, 1967 and recorded in Volume 22l, Page
<br />230 of the Hays County Deed Records and being a portion of that
<br />45 acre tract described in a deed from Rogers C. Wilson, et ux, to
<br />Rogers D. Wilson dated December 15,1967 and 'recorded in Volume
<br />221, Page 232 and later corrected in Volume 255, Page 208 of the
<br />Hays County Deed Records, and being more particularly described
<br />by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:

<br />BEGINNING ata fence corner post for the northerly
<br />west corner of the McTaggart 38 acre tract, the
<br />appare.ntnorth corner as fence of that 0.381 acre
<br />tract described in a deed from Jennie Wood Whaley
<br />to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, as recorded
<br />in Volume l24, Page 256 of the Hays County Deed
<br />Records and being on the southeast line ,as fenced
<br />of that l89 acre tract described in a deed fromW.E.
<br />Logan, et ux, to the State of Texas dated June 24,
<br />1946 as recorded in Volume l35, Page 4l4 of the Hays
<br />County Deed Records; and being in the northwest line
<br />of a 10 foot aerial easementg:r:anted to the Lower
<br />Colorado River Authority described in Volume 224,
<br />Page 522 of the Hays County Deed Records¡

<br />THENCE with the meanders of a fence for the common
<br />line, as fenced and used upon the ,ground, of the
<br />State of Texa,s tract and the McTaggart tract the
<br />following five courses: '

<br />l. N45°00'00"E 2288.67 feet witb the northwest
<br />line of the aerial easement to a fence post
<br />for an angle point,
<br />2. N13°32'l7"E 275.78 feet to a fence post for
<br />an angle point,
<br />3. N20o34'08"E 10.71 feet to a fence post for
<br />an angle point,
<br />4. N57°56'50"E 110.63 feet to a fence post for
<br />an angle point,
<br />5. N58°24'35"E l47.44 feet to a fence post on
<br />the approximate low bank of the San Marcos
<br />River for the north corner of this tract and
<br />the McTaggart tract;
