<br /> ~ERVJCE PLAN FOR ANNEXED AREA <br /> 60.606 Acres - IH-35 NORTH STRIP ANNEXATION <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10, Article 970a, <br /> V.A.C.S., there is hereby adopted for the proposed <br /> annexation area the following plan of service: <br /> 1. Police <br /> Patrolling, response to calls and other routine <br /> police services using present personnel and <br /> equipment will be provided immediately on the <br /> effective date of annexation. <br /> 2. Fire <br /> Fire protection by the present personnel and <br /> equipment of the Fire Department, within the <br /> limitations of available water, will be provided <br /> immediately on the effective date of annexation. <br /> 3. Solid Waste Collection <br /> The City of San Marcos does not provide for <br /> solid waste picKup. Arrangements for solid <br /> waste collection will have to be made with <br /> private haulers. <br /> 4. Maintenance of Water Facilities <br /> This annexation falls into the Maxwell Water <br /> Supply Corporation service area. The standards <br /> and policies now established in the current <br /> City and Public Utility Commission extension <br /> policies will be followed in maintaining and <br /> expanding the water facilities in the annexed <br /> area. <br /> 5.
