<br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 8.16 of the City <br /> Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said City Council <br /> declares that a public necessity exists, which requires amend- <br /> ment of said budget; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Ordinance 1979-38, adopted September <br /> 10, 1979, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expense <br /> of conducting each administrative unit of the municipal government <br /> of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979, and <br /> ending on September 30, 1980, and appropriated money for the <br /> various funds and purposes of such estimate, and which appropriated <br /> funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 11, be amended as set <br /> forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein for all intents and purposes. <br /> SECTION 2. That the reappropriations of Revenue Sharing <br /> Entitlement No. 11 as shown on the said Exhibit A are hereby <br /> approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. That Ordinance 1982-41, adopted September <br /> 7, 1982, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expense <br /> of conducting each administrative unit of the municipal govern- <br /> ment of said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1982, <br /> and ending on September 30, 1983, and appropriated money for <br /> the various funds and purposes of such estimate, be, and the <br /> same is hereby, amended as set forth in Exhibit B, which is <br /> attached hereto and is incorporated herein, in words and figures <br /> as shown therein for all intents and purposes. <br /> SECTION 4. That the said revisions and reappropriations <br /> which shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, for the fiscal year 1982-83 beginning October 1, 1982, <br /> and ending on September 30, 1983, be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten <br /> days from and after its passage and publication in a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the area. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading July 11, 1983. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading July 25, 1983. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED r19S3' <br /> .
