<br /> 93 <br /> ORDINANCE 1983-44 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, Al4ENDING SEC- <br /> TIONS 2-82(a) AND 2-83 (a) OF THE CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO CHANGE THE <br /> FILING DATES FOR FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE <br /> STATEMENTS OF CITY OFFICIALS AND TO <br /> CLARIFY WHICH PERSONS ARE REQUIRED TO <br /> FILE THE STATEMENTS DESCRIBED IN SECTION <br /> 2-83 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 2-82(a) of the Code of Ordinances, <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 2-82. Financial disclosure statement required. <br /> (a) Between March 15 and April 30 of each year <br /> every city official shall file a sworn <br /> financial disclosure statement with the <br /> city secretary reflecting the financial <br /> situation of the official as of December <br /> 31 of the previous year and the official's <br /> financial activity between January 1 to <br /> December 31 of the previous year. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 2-83(a) of the Code of Ordinances, <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 2-83. Information required on statement. <br /> (a) Every person required to file a financial <br /> disclosure statement under section 2-82 (a) or (b) <br /> shall include in that statement the following <br /> information: <br /> (1) The person's name; the name of each <br /> family member; and all names under <br /> which the person or family members <br /> do business. <br /> (2) Identification of each source of income <br /> amounting to more than two thousand <br /> dollars ($2,000.00) received in the <br /> reporting periods by the person or <br /> family members, stating the name, address, <br /> and nature of the source of income <br /> and stating the amount of income re- <br /> ceived; and identification of each <br />
