99 RESOLUTION NO. 1983-44R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TER.f\1S AND CONDITIONS OF A LEASE AGREE- MENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE, INC., FOR TWELVE DAYS BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 26, 1983; FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING AN AIR SHOW AND RELATED ACTIVITIES AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHO- RIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID LEASE AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the San Marcos Airport Commission has recommended that the City of San Marcos, Texas, grant permission to the Confederate Air Force, Inc., to use those premises known as the San Marcos Municipal Airport for a period of twelve (12) days beginning September 26, 1983, for the purpose of conducting an air show and related activities; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City hereby finds and determines that it would be in the best interest of said City to enter into a lease agreement for said purpose; now, there- fore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Lease Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and the Confederate Air Force for premises at the San Marcos Municipal Airport for twelve days beginning September 26, 1983, for the purpose of conducting an air show and related activities, a copy of which Lease Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and the same is hereby, approved in all respects. PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute said Lease Agreement on behalf of said City. PART 3.
