That Section 2-31 of the Code of Ordi- <br />nances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Sec. 2-31. Job classification and salary. <br /> <br />There is hereby prescribed the following number of <br />positions for each classification in the police and <br />fire departments of the City of San Marcos, Texas: <br /> <br />Classification Number of Positions <br />Authorized <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Police Officer (including Trainees) 18 <br /> <br />Corporal 9 <br /> <br />Police Sergeant 4 <br /> <br />Police Lieutenant 2 <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Firefighter (including Trainees) 15 <br /> <br />Fire Lieutenant 6 <br /> <br />Fire Captain 3 <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
