<br /> 143 <br /> GENERAL WARRANTY DEED <br /> STATE OF TEXAS X <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS X <br /> That the City of San Marcos, acting by and through its <br /> officer hereunto duly authorized, of the County of Hays <br /> and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of <br /> ONE AND NO ONE HUNDREDTHS ($1.00) DOLLARS and other valuable <br /> consideration to the undersigned paid by the grantee herein <br /> named, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has granted, <br /> sold and conveyed and by these presents does grant, sell and <br /> convey unto the State of Texas, for the use and benefit of <br /> Southwest Texas State University, of Hays County, Texas, all <br /> of the following described real property in Hays County, Texas, <br /> to-wit: <br /> A tract, parcel, or strip of land lying and <br /> being situated in San Marcos, Hays County, <br /> Texas, being 10 feet in width, crossing over <br /> and a part of Lots 1 through 8, Block 3 of <br /> the H.
