<br /> 144 <br /> ORDINANCE No 1983-52 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, MviENDING SEC- <br /> TION 6-17 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br /> - SAID CITY TO EXTEND BY ONE HOUR THE TIME <br /> DURING WHICH THE SAN MARCOS CEMETERY IS <br /> OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND DECLARING AN EFFEC- <br /> TIVE DATE. <br /> ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That section 6-17 of the Code of Ordinances, <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 6-17. Admission to cemetery. <br /> Entrance into the cemetery except through the <br /> main entrance is hereby prohibited. The San <br /> Marcos Cemetery will be officially open daily <br /> for visiting, care of graves and other appropriate <br /> uses from 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, to <br /> 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, and during Central <br /> Daylight Savings Time from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> No activity for which a permit is required, including <br /> but not limited to funeral services, is permitted <br /> on weekends or holidays unless the permit has been <br /> approved, in writing, on the regular working day <br /> prior to that weeMend or holiday. <br /> SECTION 2.
