<br /> 152 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1983-53R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, 'rEXAS, APPROVING THE <br /> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A CONTRACT FOR THE <br /> PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES; AUTHORIZING <br /> 'rHE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID <br /> CONTRACT WITH CHARLES W. CHAPMAN ON BEHALF <br /> OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN Er'FFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to <br /> engage the legal services of an attorney from September <br /> 27, 1983 to September 30, 1984 on the terms and conditions <br /> of the attached Contract For Professional Services; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, has interviewed.Charles W. Chapman, Attorney at <br /> Law, and believes him to be capable of providing said <br /> services for the Contract term; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council wishes to contract with <br /> Charles W. Chapman, for the provision of legal services <br /> from September 27, 1983 to September 30, 1984, the <br /> consideration for said services to be as stated in said <br /> attached Contract, now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the <br /> Contract For Professional Services, a copy of which is <br /> atttached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents <br /> and purposes, be, and the same are hereby, approved in all <br /> respects. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized <br /> to execute the Contract For Professional Services with <br /> Charles W. Chapman on behalf of said City. <br /> PART 3.
